In the case of Millberry Bread Co., being a cottage bakery means that what we sell is made in our home. Rest assured that in order to operate legally, we've been zoned by the county and have inspected by the NC Department of Agriculture. Ingredients are carefully sourced, handled, and disclosed to include potential allergens. Having worked as a chef in commercial kitchens, the same safe food handling practices, and ServSafe certified have transferred to the Millberry Bread Co. operation.
We don't use any preservatives, so a little extra attention may be needed so you can enjoy your whole loaf. Head over to the "Fresh Bread" page to get some tips..
We do not make any claim to be free from common allergens. This means that anything we produce may have, at least, trace amounts of Gluten/Wheat, Dairy, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Eggs, Soy, and/or Sesame.
Whenever possible, ingredients are sourced locally to support our community and ensure the freshest possible ingredients. A list of our main suppliers is here.
