Pimento Cheese Batard

This is a riff on a Southern staple. We take our country sourdough and fold in white cheddar, roasted peppers, a touch of honey, and a few twists of the pepper mill. If you grew up on pimento cheese, this bread is like a warm hug.

Have it with pimento cheese, toasted with ham, your choice of pickles, or just sliced and lightly toasted; it's sure to be a favorite however you choose.
